7Plus records highest ever week of broadcast video on demand numbers
7Plus has achieved its highest broadcast video on demand week since the launch of the product less than a year ago.
The announcement:
7plus, the Broadcast Video on Demand (BVOD) product from Australia’s most watched TV network Seven, recorded 59.8 million streaming minutes of Video on Demand (VOD) content last week, making it the best VOD week in its history. Over 60% of viewing came via a Connected TV.
Congratulations on the best week ever with “59.8 million streaming minutes of Video on Demand (VOD) content last week”.
Just to put that into perspective that is the equivalent of an audience of 1 million to a one-hour show.
… or given that the AFL Grand Final averaged 3.38m people, that is just over half of one of the quarters in the Grand Final.
… or given that a week has over 10k minutes in it, the average minute there was about 6k streams.
