A father and daughter find the perfect vehicle for their giant teddy in new Thrifty campaign
Thrifty has continued its ‘Smiles All The Way’ positioning, with an ad promoting its range of vehicles which suit even the most unusual cargo.
The ad shows a father demonstrating the features of different rental vehicles, from sedans to lorries, to his daughter, who refuses to hire any of them.
In the end the pair agree on a four-door ute, and strap a giant teddy bear on the back before driving away.
The campaign was created by Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney.
Executive creative director, Rebecca Carrasco, said in a statement: “Thrifty have a vehicle to suit everyone and every situation, even the most challenging customers with the least likely cargo.
“Price and location remain the key drivers of rental choice but what sets Thrifty apart is its commitment to go above and beyond to keep customers smiling all the way.”
Thrifty sales and marketing director, David Coutts, added: “Thrifty does more than just provide a great rental vehicle. We are passionate about ensuring all aspects of the rental experience keep our customers smiling.
“Thrifty’s mission is to continue to build our position as Australia’s most-loved car rental brand.”
The TV spots will be supported by print, online and radio advertising.
