A-Leagues’ head of growth scores CMO role at HITIQ

Concussion management technology organisation, HITIQ Limited, has appointed A-Leagues’ Chris Davis as its chief marketing officer.

In his fresh gig, Davis will spearhead HITIQ’s customer engagement and brand presence operations globally.

He boasts more than 10 years of growth, sports and digital marketing experience, having held roles such as account director and client solutions director at digital marketing consultancy company, Yango, senior account manager at GroupM’s Xaxis, and digital sales manager at Optus Sport.

His most recent position is head of growth at A-Leagues – the Australian soccer competition. Davis joined the sporting corporation in March 2022, and filled the role for over two years.

While at HITIQ, Davis’ work will consist of “enhancing brand perception, aligning and commissioning content that engages potential customers, and promoting HITIQ’s offerings in high-conversion environments”. Overall, Davis is expected to leverage his expertise to position HITIQ as a top brand on the international stage for the performance and health sectors.

Earl Eddings, HITIQ’s executive chairman, weighed in on Davis’ appointment.

“His deep experience in growth marketing and data analytics will be instrumental as we continue our mission to redefine concussion care,” Eddings said.

“Chris brings not only a track record of innovation but also a people-centric approach that aligns with our values and growth ambitions.

“His appointment marks an exciting new chapter for HITIQ as it reinforces its leadership team to drive continued expansion and product development in the evolving field of concussion management globally.”
