The return of the Ajax Spray n’ Wipe jingle and the frenetic housewife has got Dr Mumbo thinking about another dear classic.
Does anyone remember the all singing and all dancing lady in the carpet cleaner Shake ‘n’ Vac ads out of the UK?
And while it may not be an ad, who can go past the lovable Mary Poppins for that little bit of pep while cleaning?
Indeed, a spoon full of sugar seems to go a long way for some. Or maybe it’s just the fumes from all that cleaning.

Ah.. the power of a great jingle Tim. I remember the Shake n Vac ad very well.. and a number of others that had a great jingle too.. Jamaican Ginger Nuts, Coffee tastes nicer with CoffeeMate, Coco Pops (Building Blocks), Brooke Bond Dividend Tea, Nuts Whole Hazelnuts (Uh), Opal Fruits.. made to make your mouth water.. and many, many more!!
