AAMI proud of its not very ‘insurancey’ business

Chasing the phenomenal success of its Rhonda and Ketut ads, insurance company AAMI has opted for a new television ad campaign featuring flying call centre girls and stampeding ostriches.

Created by Ogilvy Melbourne and set to the tune of Danke Schoen the AAMI girls are seen manning a high tech command station and then heading out into the world to help customers with their car, home and travel insurance

The ad continues with the Lucky You’re With AAMI tagline and adds  “An Insurance Company That’s Not Very Insurancey”.

The ad begins  cut scene of an AAMI girl arriving in a road side assistance van makes perfect but things become more surreal, with AAMI staff warding off ostriches andfour AAMI girls drop from the sky to document the crash site with their phones.

AAMI has a reputation for good at storytelling, most successfully with it’s Rhonda and Ketut love story series promoting safe driver rewards.
