AAMI set up love story for Neil in campaign from Ogilvy for insurer’s assessment centres

AAMI are setting up a new Rhonda and Ketut style love story in the latest iteration of its Neil and Gaz campaign which sees Neil awkwardly ask out a woman whose car he damaged.

The campaign, created by Ogilvy Melbourne, is the sequel to the insurer’s ad for its help line which saw Neil jump out of a tree after attempting to rescue a cat, only to land on someone’s car.

Luckily for Neil when he runs into the same woman, Allison, she is not repelled by his online dating habits, or his dress-up preference and agrees to share a cab home with him after dropping her car off at an AAMI assessment centre.

Neil and Gaz are AAMI’s replacement for Rhonda and Ketut and have also appeared in the insurer’s  ‘Easier Ways to Save’ campaign as well as the insurer’s more recent driver duels work.
