ABC Commercial sells The WotWots across Asia

ABC Commercial, the commercial arm of the public broadcaster has sold the second series of children’s show The WotWots, produced by the NZ-based Pukeko Pictures in to Singapore, Thai and Mongol regions as well as across the Australia Network.

The announcement:

ABC Commercial has sold the second series of the internationally successful children’s animation series, The WotWots (26 x 12’ HD) to various broadcasters in Asia and Australia. Thai PBS has picked up the series, along with Mediacorp Okto in Singapore, Mongol TV and Australia Network.

The WotWots is an enchanting pre-school series that follows the adventures of two adorable siblings from outer space, SpottyWot and DottyWot.  This delightful pair of enquiring minds have come to Earth to explore and to marvel at the extraordinary diversity of life on the blue planet. The show celebrates this joy of discovery and demonstrates the positive values that are the building blocks of a true and enduring friendship.
