ABC launches new drama and comedy series, I Rock on digital channel

The ABC is launching a new drama and comedy series on its digital channel ABC2 about an indie rock band trying to break into the Australian music scene.  

Premiering on May 3, the half hour weekly series, I Rock, will revolve around the band Boy Crazy Stacey.

The show will also feature guest appearances of well-known Australian musicians including Tim Rogers, Laura Imbruglia, Snob Scrilla, Cassette Kids, The Lovetones and Nova breakfast presenter Scott Dooley.

It has been written by Josh Mapleston who plays the lead singer, Nash Taylor, in the show.
