ABC’s Win The Week debuts to 488,000 metro viewers, Seven takes the night

ABC’s new quiz show starring Alex Lee and The Chaser’s Craig Reucassel launched with an average of 488,000 metro viewers on Wednesday night, just cracking the top 15 shows.

The top-rating entertainment show was Nine’s Travel Guides, which brought in 719,000 metro viewers ahead of Big Brother on Seven with 652,000 metro viewers.

In other non-news programming, MasterChef Australia aired to 582,000 metro viewers, while the final ever episode of Nine’s Aussie drama Doctor Doctor had 516,000 metro viewers.

The key advertising demos were split, with Nine News 6:30 taking out 16-39 and 25-55 as Big Brother won the 18-49 demo.

The top-rating program overall was Seven News, with an average of 1.106 million metro viewers, beating Nine News, watched by 1.044 million metro viewers.

Seven celebrated a nightly win in the network share as well as holding the #1 primary channel share. The network had a 29.1% share ahead of Nine’s 28.2%, Ten’s 19.5% and ABC with 15.1%.

Channel 7 had 21.1% of the metro audience, as the top-rating multi-channel was 10 Bold with 4.4%.
