ACA still fights for Sunday audience

Nine’s continuing experiment with a Sunday edition of A Current Affair met with mixed success last night – although the show came in third in its timeslot, it did appear to limit the audience of Seven’s Sunday Night.  

Ten’s The Biggest Loser – running from 6.30pm to 7.30pm – rated 1.045m, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam. Seven’s Sunday Night, also an hour, pulled in 1.056m.

For Nine, A Current Affair rated 803,000, its worst performance to date while Customs, at 7pm, pulled in 779,000.

Last week’s A Current Affair rated 881,000 while the previous epside rated 1.237m. The first episode rated 875,000.

Meanwhile, news programming performed best. Seven News pulled in 1.499m, while Nine News rated 1.381m.
