ACCC chief Scott Gregson moves to CEO role at ASIC

Scott Gregson has stepped down from his role as CEO of the ACCC to take on the chief role at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).

Gregson had been CEO of the ACCC since August 2020, after a long career in the agency, which he joined as a graduate in 1996. He worked as executive general manager of the Merger and Authorisation Review Division, and before that, executive general manager of the Consumer Enforcement Division.
