Access to handle PR for World’s Funniest Island comedy festival

Access Public Relations has been appointed to handle the PR for a new two day comedy festival to be held on Sydney’s Cockatoo Island in October.  

The World’s Funniest Island event will feature 250 shows across 18 venues.

Festival Director John Pinder said: “It’s like the Big Day Out for comedy. There’s never been anything like it before anywhere.”

Early this year Cockatoo Island was the venue for the Nick Cave-curated All Tomorrow’s Parties festival.

 World’s Funniest Island will be officially launched early next month.
