ACM appoints Lisa Levesque as strategy director in Victoria

Lisa Levesque has joined Australian Community Media (ACM) as its Victorian strategy director.

Levesque most recently led national strategic insights at Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) and has 20 years experience in media agencies and publishing.

In her new role, Levesque will drive ACM’s strategic position with agencies and national clients. Victorian commercial director, Anna Hosking, said the business was excited about what Levesque’s appointment would bring.

“Lisa is a highly respected strategic professional in our industry. We’re looking forward to tapping into her wealth of experience through the development of commercial strategies for our clients and the broader business,” said Hosking.

“Lisa’s expertise will be valued not only within our national sales function, but also more broadly across the growing ACM business.

“We went through a rigorous recruiting process to find Lisa and we couldn’t be happier to have her come on board. We want to attract and retain quality talent as we continue our evolution as a business.“

Levesque said she felt now was the right time for the regional publisher to focus on growth.

“I am really excited to join ACM at a time of transformation and growth. Australia’s sense of community has never been more important nor has our reliance on news and trusted voices. Add to that the migration of city folk to regional Australia and ACM’s proposition becomes extremely compelling for national advertisers. ACM recently announced a $100m joint venture with realestateview.com.au and the launch of two new titles – the Northern Rivers Review and the Northern Beaches Review.

The media company also recently signed a $100m deal with IVE Group for printing and distribution.
