ACM partners with Big Splash Media on weekly travel insert

Australian Community Media has partnered with publisher and content agency Big Splash Media on Explore – a weekly travel insert to run in 14 ACM titles.

Big Splash Media and Australian Community Media are launching new travel section

Sydney-based publisher and content agency Big Splash Media and Australian Community Media are launching a new weekly travel insert called Explore.

The insert will appear in 14 newspapers around New South Wales and Victoria.

Reaching regional and urban communities, Explore will feature tours, cruise, hotels, food and wine, destinations, airlines, experiences and much more.

The section will appear in prestigious titles like The Canberra Times, The Newcastle Herald, The Illawarra Mercury, The Bendigo Advertiser and more.

The first edition will be launched on Saturday, November 23. It will have a print audience of some 300,000 a week, and a potential digital audience of 4.2 million a month.

Managing director and publisher of Big Splash Media, Peter Lynch said: “This is an exciting venture with Australian Community Media. They are one of the biggest and best read publishers in Australia, and Explore will reach some half a million readers no covered by the metro travel supplements.

“This new travel section, which will include reviews, tips, advice and news will help readers navigate a complex consumer market and find their dream holiday.”

Big Splash Media has published on behalf of the Australian Federal Government, Tourism Australia, Destination NSW, Singapore Tourism Board, The Ethics Centre and owns websites and magazines covering the travel and cruise industry.
