ACMA’s manager of media and comms, Emma Rossi, moves to ACCC
Emma Rossi has departed the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) as its manager of media and communications to join the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).
Rossi will become the ACCC’s media manager on 1 November after her seven-year stint at ACMA.
In an internal memo staff, ACMA thanked Rossi for her contribution to, and achievements at, the industry body.
“Emma has also been the face of the ACMA, doing a range of TV, blog and video interviews… In expertly managing the ACMA’s media interactions, Emma does a lot of amazing work behind the scenes that few people see and she is always available to respond to the 24/7 news cycle.
“I am sure that you will all join me in thanking Emma for her significant contributions to the ACMA over many years and wish her every success in this new chapter of her professional career. We will certainly all miss her strong connections to the media sector, her vivacious laughter and her general enthusiasm for life and people.”
