B2 clients over the years have included leading fashion photographers, magazines and retailers such as Bonds, Country Road, David Jones, Diva, George Gross, Harry Who, Jacqui E, Just Jeans, Myer, Palmolive, Sportscraft and Target – to name just a few.

Phil Scott, Managing Director, ACP Magazines, said: “This acquisition makes commercial sense for our business on a number of levels.

“First and foremost, it is an investment in creative resources for our magazines, enabling us to extend the innovation and services offered by our existing in-house studios.

“The addition of B2 will significantly boost capacity over ACP’s existing 14 studios at Park Street, comprising two purpose-built food studios, three fashion/portrait studios and nine still life studios which have been operating internally at capacity since construction three years ago.

“It also gives our current advertising clients, as well as new clients, access to state of the art studios and equipment with the required technological and photographic expertise on hand to make B2 the best studio service in Australia.”

Under ACP ownership, B2 studios will also be available for hire by clients independent of ACP Magazines. There will be no restrictions on commercial clients using the studios for non-ACP work and they are free to use their own gear or hire from their preferred rental company.

ACP Magazines Group Syndications and Photography Manager Greg Allen-Waters said: “Having the extra capacity of six quality studios will allow much more flexibility for the ACP creative teams when booking studio photography shoots.

“We aim to provide a high level of service to B2’s existing and new clients by upgrading the facilities and services already available, so stay tuned for updates.”

In addition to exceptional studio facilities, the B2 studios are also ideal for product launches and events such as awards ceremonies, fashion parades, cocktail parties and dinners.

Event concepts, organisation and management can be arranged by ACP Events, managed by Callum Board.
