ACP advertising sales director Curtis to depart

ACP Magazines director of ad sales for the women’s lifestyle group, Zara Curtis, is set to leave the publisher and comes in the wake of a restructure of its sales operations.

Curtis, who has been with ACP for more than 10 years started as head of sales for Harper’s Bazaar and then became national sales director for Cosmopolitan.

Earlier this month ACP announced changes to its management structure which included Lynette Phillips, group publisher and sales director for women’s lifestyle titles, moving into the new role of director of sales, overseeing ACP’s consumer and custom titles.

She now reports to Phil Scott, who was also promoted into the new role of group publishing director. He was previously publishing director of men’s, specialist and custom titles.

Curtis is due to leave the publisher on April 9. It is not clear at this stage if she will be replaced.

ACP was not available for comment at the time this article was published.
