Acting Columbus general manager, Guy McGechan appointed permanent GM of Vic, WA and NZ
Guy McGechan, who has been acting general manager of VIC, WA and New Zealand for seven months, has been given the role permanently.
McGechan replaces Marianne McNally who departed the digital agency to join Google as industry manager of automotive and consumer goods.

Joining the agency as group client partner in January last year, McGechan worked at Havas as a performance director for a year.
McGechan will report into Mitchell McBeath, who was appointed as managing director in May last year.
“Guy is a phenomenal, people-centric leader. During his acting period as General Manager, Guy has been instrumental in fostering talent, embedding our culture, and creating a great workplace for our people. We are proud to promote Guy to lead our VIC, WA and NZ teams, and look forward to seeing him continue to flourish in this new role,” McBeath said in a statement.
McGechan added: “I am delighted and honoured to have this opportunity to lead the VIC, WA and NZ teams.
