Ad wrap up: The latest ads from Ubet, Chemist Warehouse, Dr. Oetker and Bupa

Mumbrella wraps up a few of the latest ads going live in the last few days.

Frozen pizza brand Dr. Oetker set up a stunt to demonstrate the high quality of their frozen foods with a taste test in the dark. Agency BWM was behind the campaign, seating groups of four diners at a table in a staged restaurant environment and gauging the reaction to the taste of the pizza – all while dining in the dark. The set moves turns from a restaurant scene to an apartment, as the diners are told they are in fact eating frozen pizza.

The latest ad from online betting agency Ubet is a call to action for punters to join rewards club Ubet Plus. The 15-second ad shows die-hard fans throwing their passionate support behind various sports, while the voiceover spruiks the benefits of the rewards program. The tagline “for the thrill of it” reflects their previous creative campaigns from The Monkeys.

Bupa has created two long-form videos featuring Anna Heinrich from The Bachelor and celebrity chef, Matt Moran. The campaign, called #CaringForOurGreats aims to get people talking about a “great” influencer in their own lives, as well as sharing a selfie on social media. Heinrich talks about her grandmother Gizella in the video, “She has given me so much advice on how to cope with life,” where Moran gives a public ‘thanks’ to his dad, Jim for everything he’s done for him.

Chemist Warehouse has launched a campaign in the lead up to Father’s Day with a 30-second TVC featuring highlights from their father’s day catalogue sale, with the tagline “Smell like a sir this Father’s Day,” promoting gift ideas for dad, alongside a couple of jauntily illustrated characters.
