Adam Sadler lands at Scentre Group’s Brandspace

Former SBS media sales boss, Adam Sadler, has reemerged in the industry, as the new local head of media sales for Scentre Group’s retail media arm Brandspace.

He will working with advertisers and fostering partnerships with agencies and clients across Scentre Group’s Westfield destinations.

He joins at a time where Brandspace is looking to grow its role in the media landscape, with a focus on connecting customers to the brands and retailers “they love, or would love to discover”. He officially started at Brandspace a month ago.

Most recently, Sadler was director of media sales for SBS, where he was central to several market initiatives including SBS On Demand’s opt-out for advertising in certain categories and its Beyond 3% Initiative, which has helped grow media spend in the First Nations media sector.

He left SBS mid-last year after over 15 years with the broadcaster.

Sadler said he is looking forward to “continue evolving the BrandSpace story”.

“Westfield is deeply embedded in the Australian vernacular and way of life. It’s more than a destination; it’s a space where people connect, shop, and experience culture,” he said.

“In this role, I’ll be focused on our accelerating our digital transformation journey, and championing BrandSpace’s position as the business growing businesses.”

Brandspace’s general manager, Scott Moore, described Sadler as a “highly respected” commercial leader. He said he has a “strong track record of building high-performance teams”.

“His appointment reflects the scale of our ambition for Scentre Group BrandSpace as we continue to evolve our media platform to drive meaningful outcomes for our partners,” Moore said.

“Adam’s strategic thinking, market relationships and progressive leadership style is already proving to be a major asset to our business as we accelerate towards our next phase of growth.”
