Adelaide Radio Ratings: Mix102.3 holds onto top FM spot with Fiveaa topping AM charts
Mix102.3’s Adelaide Breakfast duo of Jodie and Soda held onto their FM breakfast crown despite a slip in audience of 1.7 share points to 12 per cent, just ahead of rival Nova.
Nova’s Breakfast team Lewis and Lowe held onto second place with a share of 11.4 per cent, a decline from the previous ratings period of 0.7 share points.
In a static period in the Adelaide radio scene, Australian Radio Network’s Mix102.3 held onto the FM top spot with a Monday to Sunday share of 14 per cent, ahead of rival Nova91.9 which posted a share of 12.5 per cent.
Nova saw its audience slip amongst people aged 18-24, with its share dipping by 2.4 share points, down to 28.3 per cent. It also saw its 24-59 age group drop by 2.1 share points to a share of 19.9 per cent, but posted growth of 2.9 points amongst listeners aged 40-54 to post a share of 10.8 per cent.
Rival Mix102.3 boosted its audience amongst the 18-24 age group by 1.6 share points, posting a share of 12.1, however saw its numbers dip across the 25-54 and 40-54 age groups.
In Drive, Nova closed the gap on Mix with a share of 15.1 per cent as Mix grabbed a share of 15.5 per cent.
Triple M held onto its third place position across the FM scoreboard, with a Monday to Sunday share of 8.8 per cent, a Breakfast share of 9 per cent and a Drive share of 8.2 per cent.
Over on the AM channels, Fiveaa stole the overall ratings crown with a share of 12 per cent as ABC891 saw its share slide by 1.4 share points to sit on a share of 10.9 per cent.
Despite a decrease of 2.3 share points in the Breakfast timeslot ABC891 held onto the lead position with a share of 16.1 per cent, as Fiveaa posted a Breakfast share of 13.9 per cent.
