Adelaide shock jock Bob Francis dies aged 77
Adelaide shock jock Bob Francis has died aged 77.
The former 5AA nighttime presenter finished up on air in August 2013 after 57 years on air.
The Advertiser reported Francis’ program director at Fiveaa for five years Nic Nolan confirmed the news today, saying Francis died suddenly, but peacefully, at his North Adelaide home.
Neil O’Reilly, Nova Entertainment’s Adelaide general manager, said: “We are deeply saddened to hear of the news of Bob Francis’ passing. He was a highly respected member of Fiveaa’s on air family for 28 years and played an integral role in the station’s success.
