ADMA names Synergy manager Tristan Berentzen as chairman of WA branch

The Association of Data Driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA) has appointed a new chair of its West Australia branch.

The announcement:

Sydney,9 September 2014 – The Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA) is pleased to announce that Tristan Berentzen is the new chair of the ADMA Western Australia branch.

Mr Berentzen is an experienced B2B marketing and sales executive, specialising in profitable business growth across consumer, business, enterprise and government segments.

He will oversee the WA branch’s activities over the next two years, providing opportunities for branch members to socialise, network and debate issues. He will act as a conduit between branch members and the ADMA board of directors, and will represent the interests of ADMA members in Western Australia.

“I’m delighted that Tristan has been appointed as chair and I look forward to his contributions to the stewardship of the ADMA Western Australia branch over the next few years. His significant marketing, business and corporate experience will deliver and enhance value for members in Western Australia,” said ADMA CEO Jodie Sangster.

With a career spanning 16 years, Mr Berentzen is currently the Business Segment Manager for Synergy, the leading energy retailer in Western Australia where he oversees the management and growth of Synergy’s $1.4 billion per annum electricity and gas portfolio for the corporate, business and government sectors.

Prior to this he spent several years at Australia Post in Melbourne in several senior roles. A key highlight was serving as the National Segment Manager of Australia Post’s $820 million per annum transport and logistics, communications and financial services portfolio for the small-to-medium business segment.

One of his first responsibilities will be overseeing the annual ADMA WA branch’s marketing conference taking place this October.

Mr Berentzen is currently undertaking a Masters in Science (Sustainability Management) at Curtin University and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies in Marketing and Tourism Management from Edith Cowan University.
