Adobe unveils major updates to Illustrator and Photoshop

Adobe has announced a myriad of changes to its leading design applications, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, to accelerate creative workflows and provide more control to designers.

The latest release of Illustrator introduces several tools designed to streamline the creative process for professional designers, including the new generative shape fill, powered by the Firefly Vector Model, which allows designers to add detailed vectors to shapes using simple text prompts.

The dimension tool, contextual taskbar, retype, enhanced selection tools, text to pattern, style reference, and more workflow enhancements speed up tedious tasks and save designers time and effort.

Photoshop is introducing intuitive features to accelerate core creative workflows and streamline repetitive tasks with the selection brush tool, adjustment brush tool and enhancements to the type tool and contextual taskbar. The photo-editing application has also introduced new ways to create generate images, powered by Adobe Firefly Image 3 Model.
