Aegis Media hires Simon Tebbutt as head of shopper marketing

Media agency group Aegis Media has appointed Simon Tebbutt to the newly created role af head of shopper and retail strategy in Australia and New Zealand.   

The announcement:

Simon will work across Aegis Media’s Activations agencies Apollo, Impact and Synergy. He brings a wealth of global experience having developed shopper marketing solutions and retail strategies for clients such as Sainsbury’s, Woolworths & Aldi as well GSK, Heinz, and Unilever. Simon has held senior roles at M&C Saatchi, BMF and Publicis Mojo in Australia as well as Ogilvy and retail specialist Storm in the UK.

David Fish, Managing Director of Aegis Media’s Activations division, said the appointment further cements the group’s leadership position in the Activations space.

We have recently developed new strategic tools and are broadening the skill set of our offering to provide clients with a deeper level of insight and strategic support. Simon’s experience in the shopper and retail space adds considerable weight to our offer.”

Simon joins Aegis Media this week, based in Sydney.
