AFTRS asks prospective students to find untold stories in ‘Storytellers Wanted’ film

72andSunny has launched its first work for the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) which asks prospective students to find the untold story in an ad.

Titled ‘Storytellers Wanted’, the one minute film features different characters of various ages at cross roads in their life.

Storytellers Wanted doubles as an interactive application to the school encouraging potential students to write the untold stories of the characters featured in the film and submit it in the format of photographs, illustrations or as a script.

One person will be awarded a scholarship for a Bachelor of Arts: Production course or a Masters of Arts Screen course.

The campaign will be running online and in cinemas.

Johnny Tan, ECD at 72andSunny APAC, said in a statement: “The idea of working with past and current alumni in bringing to life both the power of great storytelling and the role AFTRS plays to inspire the next generation of storytellers, made total sense.

“It shows the role the organisation has in shaping the stories of modern Australia.”

The campaign comes three months after 72andSunny and AFTRS partnered to launch a creative entrepreneurship training program.
