AIMIA nominations now open for new committee appointees

The Australian Digital Industry Association, AIMIA, is seeking nominations for a range of committee positions it has announced today.

The release:

Nominations are now open for the NSW, VIC, QLD and SA 2014/15 State Chapter Committees, with the following positions available: President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. A total of up to 12 members will be appointed to each Chapter for a 12 month term.

With fresh faces come fresh ideas, so it is important for new committee members to be appointed to provide new perspectives and to add to the energy and enthusiasm of the current Chapter.

Please find some important points to consider before nominating for your State Chapter below:

• Candidates must be a financial AIMIA member to nominate for their relevant State Chapter
• Nominated candidates must be available to attend a monthly meeting during office hours (times and dates will be decided once the committee has been elected)
• Although the nominated candidate sits on the chapter as an individual, they must have the full support of their employer to sit on the AIMIA committee

The form can be emailed to info@aimia.com.au or posted to the AIMIA National office and must be returned by 10am, Wednesday 2nd July, 2014.

Please note that if 12 or less nominations are received there will be no election. If more than 12 nominations are received formal voting will be conducted. More information will be provided once nominations have closed.
