Air Asia recruits Guy Sebastian to help people ‘Fly Smarter’

Air Asia has used the 2003 Australian Idol winner and pop star Guy Sebastian to help customers ‘Fly Smarter’ with the budget airline’s options.

Created by PublicisQ, the commercial details how passengers can choose whether or not to pay for entertainment.

The ad shows Sebastian start singing when he is told and stop when he is told to indicate the way customers can pick when they want entertainment.

Simone Waugh, PublicisQ managing director, said: “A decade ago, [Air Asia] were one of the first airlines to democratise the sky by offering low fares to a strong network of destinations in Asia from day one, and empowering Aussies to choose their seats, baggage allowance, inflights meals and more.”
