AirAsia launches heated bus shelter
AirAsia has created a heated bus shelter to tie in with the idea that the airline can take Melburnians to warmer climes this winter.
Two of the shelters have been erected – on Collins Street and St Vincent’s Plaza in Melbourne – and will remain in place for a week.
AirAsia worked with JC Decaux Innovate, Rapid Media and Publicis Mojo on the campaign.
“AirAsia wanted to do something special for Melburnians by making their morning commute a little warmer, as well as remind travellers that now is the perfect time to escape the city and head for warmer climates,” said AirAsia X marketing manager Australia Stuart Myerscough said.
I love it! I would have added a little stronger call to action but great idea Stuart and team 🙂
great idea, tram stops would have worked better in melbourne though!
Well done.
Ummm it was a tram stop in melbourne? Two, in fact.
ING have rolled out a similiar idea in Melbourne today….orange couches replacing the normal seats in tram stops (I spotted one in St Kilda Rd) to tie in with their (very odd) Orangutan creative.
