Airbnb Australia PR manager joins Google-owned drone startup
Airbnb Australia’s former senior PR manager, Maria Catanzariti, has joined Alphabet-owned drone delivery service Wing as communications lead.
Cananzariti joined Airbnb in October 2017 from Twitter, where she had served nearly three years as the local communications manager.
Catanzariti joins Wing after two years with AirBnB
Wing is one of the experimental ‘moon shots’ of Google’s parent company Alphabet, which is experimenting with drone delivery systems in Finland and regional Australia.
Wing refused to comment when approached by Mumbrella while Airbnb is yet to respond.
Before joining Twitter Catanzariti worked as a strategic communications manager at UN Women Australia for two years, and as a media adviser to the Department of Premier and Cabinet (NSW) for three years.
