AirCheck to deliver ad revenue reports for radio commercials

Broadcast monitoring company AirCheck has announced it has teamed up with My Radio Rates to provide reports on advertising revenue for radio commercials.

My Radio Rates is Australia’s largest independent source of radio rates, and will join with AirCheck to assign a dollar value for each commercial radio advertisement reflecting current market rates.

The new feature will become available on AirCheck from 1 February, in addition to current song monitoring data, with My Radio Rates bringing 20 years experience in real-time radio buying to the partnership.

AirCheck subscribers can now access a new Advertising Expenditure Report, where they can create a series of custom reports, searching by advertiser and/or category,  brand, market, station and day part, with a dollar value attached to each.

There’s also The Share Report, which contains a more detailed competitive analysis of media share by revenue.

Reports are available close to real time across 63 commercial radio stations covering Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Gold Coast, Central Coast, Geelong, Newcastle and Wollongong.

RCS vice president of Asia Pacific, Keith Williams, called the move a “milestone” for AirCheck.

“The biggest addition to our monitoring service since AirCheck began in 2004. It adds another dimension to our market intelligence reports and makes our competitive analysis compelling. Ad Revenue reports are available for radio stations in the top 11 markets in Australia and are always live.”
