Airtasker’s creative pitch has concluded, with Sydney-based Two Mad Cowboys winning the brand’s account.
The agency had already completed a COVID-19 campaign for the brand while in the midst of the five-way pitch.
The agency will be responsible for creating and launching a new brand platform for Airtasker both locally and internationally.
Airtasker’s brand lead Sarah May said the brand was looking for a different kind of agency.

“Through the pitch, Two Mad Cowboys demonstrated their ability to take us to a range of news places with the cultural resonance we need to move the brand forward,” she said.
“The platform idea that was pitched instantly resonated and has a cheekiness. We can’t wait to see it come to life.”
She added that the brand and agency were a good fit, with Two Mad Cowboys’ “agile, relaxed and collaborative approach” being “super refreshing”.
The agency’s creative partner Matt Sterne echoed the sentiment that the two were a good pair, saying their philosophies of “grabbing attention” were aligned.
“Airtasker is a marketplace we’ve come to admire for some time and frequently use ourselves,” he said.
“After a remotely produced COVID community piece, we’re looking forward to launching the next global brand platform with a bang.”
Two Mad Cowboys’ other clients include Xinja Bank and Breville Group.
