Alibaba’s director of corporate affairs and marketing ANZ to depart

Chinese retail giant Alibaba is in process of searching for a new head of corporate and public affairs Australia and New Zealand following the departure of James Hudson.

Hudson had held the title of director of corporate affairs and marketing Australia and New Zealand for more than five years.

An Alibaba spokesperson told Mumbrella: “James Hudson will move on from Alibaba Group in November. We are grateful for his invaluable leadership and contribution over the past five and a half years, and wish him all the best with his future endeavours. Alibaba Group is in the process of recruiting a head of corporate and public affairs for the Australia and New Zealand region.”

Hudson took to LinkedIn to comment on his departure.

Alibaba is a Chinese retail company that focuses on ecommerce, and has been operating in Australia since 2016.
