The tournament, which features a cascade of top tier gaming and entertainment talent, invites gamers to enter a draw to win a place on one of 20 teams competing in the event.

By entering the draw, gamers have an opportunity to team up with or battle against some of Australia’s best-known streamers and personalities in Fortnite – including Team PWR members Lachlan, Chanzes and Jynx, just to name a few.

Most people can’t claim to have KO’d UFC’s Rob Whittaker, or taken down AFL’s Mitch Robinson and NRL’s Andrew Fifita, but the lucky winners of the draw can challenge them in this unique Fortnite experience. Other sporting identities include Tyson Pedro, Kyle Feldt and Aaron Woods, as well as musicians Day1 or YNG Martyr, and comedian Jordan Raskopoulos.

Adam Lee, Alienware general manager ANZ said that it was an opportunity to bring together their highly engaged community of gamers in a truly interactive experience.

“With more than 350 million players registered worldwide, there’s no doubt that gamers love playing Fortnite, and Alienware is excited to bring enthusiasts together along with streamers and other personalities for a great night of entertainment.”

EssenceMediacom, which leads the Alienware account, was focused on proactively creating a unique space for Alienware to own against its competitors, while engaging the gaming audience in new and exciting ways.

Thomas Willson, client partner at EssenceMediacom said: “We are excited to push the boundaries with Alienware and constantly engage the 17m+ gaming audience. The Alienware Arena Series is a great tangible example of how we do this in partnership with gaming marketing experts Livewire.”

Playing a Fortnite tournament is always a thrill, but the chance to do it alongside some of Australia’s best streamers and other personalities is next level.”
