Working in the US for most of his career, Dib has also spent time at MediaCom, GfK, Nielsen Online, LRW and MSL Group. He returns home to Melbourne to take the role at PPR.

Dib’s appointment aims to bolster the agency’s ability to deliver stronger local insights and deliver planning and strategy development.

Speaking of his appointment, Dib said PPR has a great connection and knowledge of different communities and has a strong breadth of clients.

PPR’s connection and knowledge of communities is already strong by virtue of its breadth of clients and network of offices across Australia and New Zealand. This will only be bolstered with the impact data and insights can have at driving greater effectiveness of communication strategies,” Dib added.

Michael Pooley, COO at PPR, said in a statement: “Understanding how communities live, work and play is the fundamental foundation of effective communications.

“If you don’t understand how they think, why they behave in the way they do, their passions, their challenges, their channel consumption mix you can’t expect to build campaigns that people care about.”
