Allison Lee resurfaces as director of media at NSW Department of Industry

Allison Lee has joined NSW Department of Industry as its director of media.

Posting to LinkedIn Lee said: “I’m thrilled to have joined the NSW Department of Industry as the new director of media.

“The Department of Industry plays a vital role in creating conditions for NSW to prosper, by ensuring we have a highly-skilled workforce, we manage our natural resources sustainably and we encourage investment and competition. It’s great to part of team that touches the lives of NSW residents every day.”

Lee was previously the director of media and public relations at Destination NSW, departing the role in February.

Prior to her stint at Destination NSW, Lee was in a temporary five month position as the publicist for Children’s Festival of Moving Stories.

Lee also founded PR agency Impact Communications in 1999 and was the agency’s managing director for 15 years.

Throughout her career Lee has worked with clients including Nestlé, Seek, Twinings Tea and Horticulture Innovation Australia.

Lee has been approached for comment.
