Allure Media’s chief revenue officer Sarah Wyse departs to launch women’s network

Allure Media’s chief revenue officer Sarah Wyse has departed the company after just over a year.

Wyse, the former managing director of Videology for Australia and New Zealand, joined the publisher in January last year and was responsible for restructuring the commercial team.

Allure Media’s chief revenue officer Sarah Wyse will leave at the end of the month

A release from Allure Media stated Wyse had been leading Allure Media’s commercial strategy refresh and, having delivered on those plans, was due to finish at the end of the month.

In October last year, Wyse hired Aaron Macarthur, as national sales director. He will now run the commercial team as national sales and operations director.

Macarthur was previously group sales director at News Corp and was also SCA’s Sydney commercial director.

Wyse will now set out to grow her own business, Wyse Women, a network of women who are after flexible work opportunities.

Jason Scott, Allure Media’s chief executive officer, said Wyse had done a “tremendous job” in recasting the company’s commercial strategy.

“She has assembled a solid team of digital sales professionals who are expert at creating powerful digital marketing connections with our highly-engaged audiences, delivering great value to our agencies and clients,” Scott said.

“Allure Media supports the important work Sarah is doing to increase the participation of women in the workforce. I look forward to seeing the Wyse Women initiative thrive with Sarah’s full focus and attention,” he added.

Wyse said she was pleased to have delivered the commercial team changes but is looking forward to building the business she began as a side project in April last year.

“I’m excited to be taking my business to the next phase of its success and look forward to working with Australia’s most progressive companies to engage Australia’s deep pool of talented women seeking modern and mutually beneficial flexible working arrangements,” Wyse said.
