Alt Shift appointed strategic comms partner for Caravanning Queensland

Alt Shift has been named the new strategic communications partner for the Caravan Trade and Industry Association of Queensland (Caravanning Queensland).

The announcement:

Integrated creative communications agency alt/shift/ has been appointed as the Caravan Trade and Industry Association of Queensland’s (Caravanning Queensland) strategic communications partner following a competitive tender process.

Alt/shift/ will lead public relations, influencer relations and campaign strategy for Caravanning Queensland’s four major annual events, its road safety program VANSafe, and promotion of the RV and caravanning lifestyle more broadly.

Caravanning Queensland CEO Jason Plant said the decision was driven by a desire to evolve the association’s communications and connect with new audiences that will in turn benefit its diverse members.

“We set out to find an agency partner, with a strong Brisbane based team, who could deliver future-facing communications that reflect the evolving identity of the RV and caravanning industry. alt/shift/’s response delivered new thinking and fresh ideas that inspired and excited our team,” Mr Plant said.

“Their approach to earned first campaigns, influencers and advocacy work underpinned by strategic and creative thinking struck the balance we feel is necessary to connect with new and seasoned travellers. We’re excited by the new partnership and the team has hit the ground running as we approach our first event together, the Let’s Go Explore Caravan and RV Expo in October.”

alt/shift/ Brisbane general manager Priscilla Jeha said the team is thrilled to be partnering with a prominent Queensland association.

“We’re excited to be working with Caravanning Queensland at such a pivotal time for the industry. The team’s passion for innovation and storytelling aligns perfectly with our approach to creative communications.”

The appointment follows a strong run of new business and campaign activity for alt/shift/, including the recent national out-of-home campaign for 99 Bikes.

Launched in September, the campaign reinforces the retailer as the most approachable and trusted partner for cyclists of every skill level. alt/shift/ developed a campaign that brings to life the experience for every rider, from kids through to hard-core weekend mountain bike riders, capturing interactions between staff and customers.

The campaign is live nationally across metro lights, large-format billboards, and bus sides.
