Alt/Shift launches content arm and expands into Sydney

Creative communications agency Alt/Shift has launched a content creation arm, led by content and social media director Steph Grapsas.

The new division offers a full-service content offering ranging from strategy and ideation to content production, distribution via earned or paid channels, and support for clients’ internal content teams.

The agency has also announced its expansion into the Sydney market to service both local and national clients.

Alt/Shift managing director Elly Hewitt said: “Increasingly, we’re seeing the value of high quality, strategic content across our client campaigns, whether it’s part of an integrated campaign or ongoing content engine work.

“Engaging and inspiring content plays a huge role in both earned and owned media, and while we’ve been producing content for almost all of our campaign work for some time, we’ve decided to make it an increased focus for the agency with a dedicated team.”

Alt/Shift’s clients include Mazda, Origin, Lion Dairy and Drinks, the Transport Accident Commission, Revlon, and Rolex.

Content and social media drector Steph Grapsas said: “I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into more content-led work within a team that thinks beyond the traditional realms of PR, and is genuinely excited about how people experience and connect with brands.

“Great content is a real game-changer for brands, and working within the Alt/Shift model – offering creative, strategy, planning, public relations, experiential, influencer marketing and sponsorship – means we can deliver more holistic and effective campaigns.”

The agency hired creative director Julia Spencer back in December and has recently won Samsonite and Saint.
