Amazon Australia’s content editor Shannon Molloy to return to News Corp
Amazon’s first Australian content editor, Shannon Molloy, is headed back to News Corp, where he will take on the role of senior reporter.
Molloy, who was previously a digital reporter and producer at News Corp for four years, joined the Australian arm of Amazon in October last year.
Molloy announced on Twitter he would return back to the publisher’s online platform, news.com.au.
Some news from me. I've really missed journalism and writing over the past year… so, I'm going back! Next week I start as Senior Reporter at @newscomauHQ. Can't wait to get on the tools again.

Beyond News Corp, Molloy has worked across a variety of publications including TV Week and Australian Property Investor Magazine.
On his return to News Corp, Molloy told Mumbrella: “I’ve really missed journalism this past year – much more than I expected to. So, I’m very excited to be getting back to where I belong, on the tools and breaking yarns, at Australia’s number one news website.”
Molloy’s replacement at Amazon Australia has not been announced.
Does anyone care?
Can you only report on senior movements? If you report on any old person moving job then Mumbrells is going to cluttered with endless boring “news”.
Or maybe he knows the editor which is why this was published.
