Amber Wheatland joins the Triple M Bundy Breakfast Show

Australian Commercial Radio Award (ACRA) winner Amber Wheatland will join the Triple M breakfast program in Bundaberg. 

The announcement:

Southern Cross Austereo has today announced Amber Wheatland will join Triple M Bundaberg’s breakfast team.

Amber, who grew up in Mildura, is set to travel up to Bundaberg after her six and a half year gig on Hit Sunraysia’s brekky team.

“I’m so excited to work with a new team, in new studios, in a completely new town. My new home of Triple M Bundy is going to be the start of something very special, and I can’t wait to get amongst it!” said Amber.

Amber brings with her great success in the industry after winning “Best New Comer – On Air” at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs) after only a few short months since her first appearance on breakfast radio and recently won “Best On Air Team” with Hit Sunraysia co-host Michael “Billows” Billings in 2017.

Triple M Bundaberg’s Content Director, Ryan Bebbington, said: “We’re thrilled to have such an amazing talent in Amber joining our team here in Bundy, her radio experience from Victoria is vast and we can’t wait to get her on the ground”

“It’s time to kick it up a gear, and ride this wave in Bundaberg!” said Amber. She will join co-host Nik on the Bundy Breakfast Show from Monday, 16 July.
