AMP-AXA appoints UM

AMP-AXA has appointed media agency UM after  review that began in February

The announcement:

UM has been appointed to the newly consolidated AMP-AXA media account following a competitive review that began in February this year. The review was initiated following AMP’s acquisition of AXA in 2011.

At the time of the media review being called, AMP was working with UM and AXA with OMD. The pitch was managed by external consultants Enth Degree.

Mat Baxter, CEO of UM Australia, commented: “AMP has been a very long standing UM client so we are delighted to be reappointed with a broader remit now also encompassing AXA.”

UM will now expand its existing AMP team in Sydney and bring in new talent to its Melbourne operations to service the new portfolio.
