DocuSign appoints new APAC Marketing Director

DocuSign has appointed Andrea Dixon as its new Marketing Director for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

Dixon started with DocuSign last month, bringing more than 15 years’ experience in marketing and communications in the B2B technology sector to the role.

“I have worked in the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry for the majority of my career. I am a huge advocate of the benefits technology can deliver to companies and the customer experience it enables,” Dixon said.

“DocuSign, in particular, has a fantastic story to tell. It is a pioneer, helping companies of all sizes become more efficient, productive and sustainable. Companies today have a responsibility to their employees, suppliers, customers and the environment to reduce unnecessary paper based agreements. There is a huge opportunity for DocuSign to help companies fulfill their responsibilities and that’s why I am proud to be joining the team.”

Before joining DocuSign, Dixon spent almost six years with Oracle. Initially with Responses, a marketing automation company that was acquired by Oracle in 2013, Dixon went on to lead Oracle’s Marketing Cloud marketing and communications for Japan, Asia-Pacific.

“In this role, I led a cross-functional team that spanned demand generation, digital marketing, communications, content as well as customer and partner marketing.”

Before it was acquired in 2013, Responses was led by current DocuSign CEO Dan Springer.

“Dan is an exceptional leader and the opportunity to join a company where he was at the helm was another big drawcard of this role,” said Dixon.

Brad Newton, DocuSign Vice President APAC, said he is very pleased to welcome Andrea to the team.

“DocuSign is going from strength to strength in this region and there is still a lot of growth ahead. It’s exciting to have someone of Andrea’s calibre and experience in APAC to help us drive our ambitious growth agenda,” he said.

Based in Melbourne, Andrea was preceded by Kayleigh Kahlefeldt, who is now Content Marketing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa, based in London.
