Anna Dancey named NITV national sales manager at SBS Media

SBS Media has appointed Anna Dancey in the role of national sales manager for National Indigenous Television (NITV) for 2021.

Dancey, a proud Iningai woman, joins the free-to-air channel made for and by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, which aims to bring First Nations storytelling and perspectives to the SBS network and beyond.

Dancey has over a decade of experience in media sales, working in-house and in agency roles, and now returns to SBS after previously working there as a senior sales executive.

She spent much of 2020 as an account director at LinkedIn within the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions team. She also spent time at Seven West Media, Starcom, Multi Channel Network, Network Ten, and APN.

As national sales manager, Dancey will lead the development and implementation of NITV’s television and digital advertising sales strategy, managing agency and client relationships, and driving continued growth in investment in the channel.

Dancey begins in her new role from 1 February 2021.
