Anne Wild & Associates wins media relations for Visit Scotland

Communications agency, Anne Wild & Associates (AWA), has won the media relations account for Visit Scotland.

The agency will be promoting Year of Scotland in Australia 2020, a program of events that celebrates Scottish culture planned by Showcase Scotland EXPO, Creative Scotland, the Scottish Government and Visit Scotland.

The news comes three weeks after the agency won the public relations account for The Lux Collective group of hotels.

Visit Scotland consumer PR manager, Michael McCuish, said of the appointment: “Australia and Scotland enjoy a close connection on the back of our shared heritage, and Australia is a key market for travellers to Scotland.

“We’re delighted to have this opportunity to showcase the depth and diversity of Scottish music, art, food, drink and dance across a range of events and locations, and we’re excited to partner with AWA to highlight Scotland’s culture and creativity and expand our audience in Australia.”

AWA managing director, Anne Wild, added: “We can’t wait to drive awareness about Scotland’s lively arts, music and cultural scene, and to entice Australians to experience a taste of Scotland at home while also inspiring them to visit Scotland in the future.”

Earlier this year, AWA won the public relations account for Visit Maldives, and in February, the agency won the account for Greek hotel group Myconian Collection.
