Ara Ko Joins Ansible as the Agency Redefines Capabilities

February 6, 2017: Mobile marketing-services and technology company Ansible has appointed Ara Ko to be head of mobile marketing as the agency’s growth accelerates with the launch of new marketing capabilities and technology platforms to enhance the effectiveness of clients’ campaigns.

In November last year Ansible pioneered the introduction of breakthrough mobile campaign measurement to the Australian market that was proven to accurately attribute mobile acquisition and drive down acquisition costs for clients by more than 90%.

“The mobile marketing landscape continues to grow at a significant rate, and with it the requirement for more advanced engagement and smarts via technology to maximise the opportunity for clients,” said Scott Player, CEO of Ansible Australia. “Over the next few months we’ll launch several new tech platforms to complement our mobile creative, production and media capabilities. This evolution requires visionary talent and Ara Ko is our ideal candidate for this position.”

Ko is relocating from New York to Sydney for the new position. She has most recently been vice president, group partner at UM New York, heading up the USA H&M and Coca-Cola accounts. She has been with IPG Mediabrands for almost 10 years and previously held planning and account leadership roles at UM in Sydney and New York.

Said Ko; “Ansible Australia is recognised globally for its outstanding and award-winning work for clients. As mobility continues to lead change in people’s behaviour, this role is a great opportunity to evolve the offering and increase effectiveness for brands. I am looking forward to the challenge”.
