The ACTU’s latest election attack ad on Tony Abbott features the Liberal leader with his two pet budgies named Work and Choices.
They live in his swimming trunks.

I’m no marketeer, but the fact that Abbott’s a clubbie is probably his most (only?) redeeming feature.
Other than the Australian Army slouch hat, the life-saver is probably our most iconic and respected image.
Maybe I’m way off the mark, but I reckon a lot of Australians actually really connect with Abbott and his dick-stickers… Maybe the Libs need to play it up NOT down.
Like when did being a volunteer life-saver, involved in your local community become an insult?
