APAC and global bosses announced for Mumbrella360 conference

m360The regional bosses of some of the biggest agency and media brands in Asia are today confirmed for the lineup of next month’s Mumbrella360.

The panel will offer perspectives on the wider region and Australia’s place in the marketing world.

Speakers include the APAC bosses of creative agencies Y&R and DDB, Omnicom Media Group and Facebook, along with the global CEO of digital agency Lowe Profero. The panellists are:

  • Facebook’s vice president for Asia Pacific Dan Neary. Neary has run Facebook’s business since March last year. Previously he was GM of global market development for Skype. He has also held senior roles for eBay in Asia and Kellogg’s in Greater China;
  • Matt Godfrey, President Asia for Young & Rubicam, a role he has held for the last four years. Godfrey is a veteran agency boss, including CEO at Publicis and prior to that boss of Bates;
  • John Zeigler, president and CEO of DDB Asia Pacific will also return to Mumbrella360 for a second year. Last year Zeigler was named global marketer of the year by the World Marketing Congress;
  • Cheuk Chiang, CEO for Asia Pacific at Omnicom Media Group. Previously the CEO for Asia Pacific of PHD, Chiang’s current role sees him running 32 offcies across 17 markets.
  • Wayne Arnold is global CEO of Lowe Profero, and one of the few bosses of a global network to be based in Asia. He started Profero in the UK in 1998.

The session, taking place on the first day of Mumbrella360 on June 4, will be moderated by Mumbrella’s Asia editor Robin Hicks.

Mumbrella360 takes place at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney with a speed networking afternoon on June 3 and the conference on June 4 and 5.

Speakers include international keynotes from BuzzFeed and DDB Worldwide, and News Corp co-chairman Lachlan Murdoch interviewed on stage by GroupM executive chairman John Steedman.
