APN Outdoor expands Brisbane footprint

Outdoor advertising company APN Outdoor has acquired the space for eight new large roadside panels in Brisbane. The sites are positioned on key roads in the Brisbane metro area.

The announcement:

APN Outdoor is expanding its large format footprint with the launch of eight new high-quality Supersite roadside panels in Brisbane. The sites have been secured through a combination of builds and acquisitions and are strategically located on key arterial roads around the Brisbane metropolitan area.

In 2012, APN Outdoor added six high-calibre large format sites to its Queensland inventory when it won the tenders for the Gateway Motorway and the M1; including Brisbane’s first free-standing large format roadside digital Supersite. This was both a first for Brisbane as well as the Australian Outdoor market.

Phil Eastwood, APN Outdoor’s General Manager – Sales, commented: “Launching these additional large format sites in Brisbane further entrenches our position of strength in this market and delivers a greater level of coverage and flexibility to our clients. Large format continues to be a fantastic communications platform for advertisers seeking to make a statement in the market, achieve broadcast coverage as well as deliver strong impact and recall with consumers.

“Our decision to launch these eight new large format faces (six sites) comes off the back of our recent Driver Engagement Study, which found 81% of drivers notice billboards on key arterials. With a continued growth plan for 2013 and additional developments in our digital inventory, APN Outdoor is committed to delivering powerful outdoor media solutions.”

APN Outdoor offers both large format and transit advertising in the Brisbane market to provide advertisers with a widespread reach to consumers.
