APN Outdoor locks in new contract with Roads and Maritime Services

APN Outdoor has confirmed a seven-year contract with Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) in Sydney, adding another 34 panels to its remit.

The new contract is effective from August this year, and will add to the 16 panels APN Outdoor currently operates for RMS.

The new contract will run for seven years

Key sites under the contract include billboards on Pennant Hills Road, Cumberland Highway, the M4, Hume Highway, M7, F5, Warringah Road and bridges sites on the F3.

APN Outdoor chief executive and managing director James Warburton said the contract was a key component of APN Outdoor’s strategy.

“The Roads and Maritime Services contract was a key priority for our business, it extends and completes our full geographic coverage of Sydney and also gives us the opportunity to develop more sites including new significant digital greenfield sites on major traffic routes throughout the state,” Warburton said.

The new contract follows the addition of APN Outdoor’s Northern Beaches B-Line service contract, Sydney Transit Network and the renewal of Transport for Brisbane, Transdev Melbourne and Adelaide and Parafield airports.

Late last year, APN Outdoor lost the Canberra Airport and Yarra Trams contracts.
